Billy Elliot The Musical is a joyous, exciting and feel-good celebration of one young boy’s triumph against the odds. Called “THE MOST INSPIRING SHOW I’VE SEEN IN YEARS” by Ben Brantley of The New York Times, the story follows Billy’s journey as he stumbles out of the boxing ring, into a ballet class and discovers his dream to dance. Full of life, laughter, award-winning choreography and an unforgettable score by Elton John, this uplifting show will stay with you forever.

Based on the international smash-hit film, Billy Elliot is brought to life by the Tony-winning creative team — director Stephen Daldry, choreographer Peter Darling and writer Lee Hall — along with music legend Elton John, who has written what the New York Post calls “HIS BEST SCORE YET!”

Billy Elliot will be playing Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Orpheum Theatre Dec. 16, 2010 through Jan. 9, 2011.

When can I buy tickets?
Tickets for Billy Elliot will first be available as part of a 2010/11 Broadway Season ticket package, which is scheduled to go on sale in April.

How can I purchase a season package?
Season ticket packages will go on sale this spring. Packages may be purchased in person at the State Theatre Box Office, online by logging on to HennepinTheatreTrust.org/box-office/broadway-season or by calling the Broadway Across America Season Ticket Hotline at 1-800-859-SHOW (7469), Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. CST.
