Hannah Novillo Erickson

Public Art and Placemaking Coordinator

Hannah Novillo Erickson joined Hennepin Theatre Trust in 2016. She is a curator and organizer, working with artists in Minneapolis and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Prior to the Trust, Hannah was the civic engagement associate at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, where she assisted the curator of public programming. Her research has centered on public programming, social practice and the evolution of artist-run spaces in the United States. Previous to her time in the Bay Area, Hannah was the director of artist relations for the Minneapolis Uptown Art Fair, where she and the team received more than 40 IFEA Pinnacle Awards, including best green program and best event.

She has a Master of Arts in curatorial practice from California College of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology with a minor in sociology from the University of Minnesota.
