Morgan Zehner joined the Hennepin Theatre Trust in 2018 after having served as a consultant for two years. Morgan is an experienced social sector strategist, having supported international and local organizations in the development and execution of major fundraising campaigns and initiatives for more than 10 years. He also has direct experience working with arts, cultural development and place-based organizations on destination and economic development.
As a transplant from the East Coast, Morgan chose Minneapolis and Minnesota due to the city’s renowned arts scene and the state’s high quality of life, and is driven to make a contribution to its continued excellence as a great place to live, work and play.
Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He currently serves as Board President of the Midtown Greenway Coalition and has volunteered for and served many diverse nonprofit organizations.
Morgan lives in South Minneapolis with his wife and daughter in an architect-designed home where he reads, enjoys dance music and plans wilderness excursion to the great outdoors.
