Rebecca Haddad

Director of Development

Rebecca Haddad leads a talented development team in areas including major gifts, legacy giving, sponsorships, foundation giving and more. Her role is a critical part of achieving Hennepin Theatre Trust’s vision to advance the cultural and economic vitality of Minnesota.

Rebecca has a strong background in development, most recently serving as Director, Leadership Giving, Mission Advancement at the Science Museum of Minnesota. In that role, she successfully led a development team in strategic giving initiatives, while building strong relationships internally and externally.

She has experience in multiple industries, including nonprofit, advanced education, criminal justice and youth development. Prior to her time at the museum, Rebecca held roles at strategic development planning firm Hamra Consulting in Minneapolis, Youth Frontiers, Way to Grow, Dunwoody College of Technology and the Council on Crime and Justice.

Rebecca earned her Master of Public Administration at the University of Montana. Her undergrad program in sociology and social work at Miami University of Ohio took her to Minnesota, for a Middle East study abroad program through St. Olaf College.

Early in her career, Rebecca’s experience took her to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, D.C. and the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota. She has made a home in the Twin Cities for nearly two decades.

Rebecca also has a heart for volunteering, contributing to the missions of many nonprofits. She has volunteered in various capacities with The Minneapolis Foundation, Leadership Twin Cities, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Norwegian Explorers of Minnesota and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, to name a few.
