Tumi E. Akin-Deko

Tumi provides administrative support to all Programming teams at Hennepin Theatre Trust. She manages schedules, financial activities and departmental data while also interfacing with external contacts such as artists, civic leaders and teachers. Tumi originally is from Memphis, Tenn. and she holds B.A in Cinema and Media Studies at Carleton College.

After graduating from Carleton College, Tumi has worked in varying capacities with different local theatre and dance companies such as Zenon Dance Company, Parkway Theatre, SteppingStone Theatre and Actor’s Theatre of MN. She has worked in as a Receptionist and House Manager at the Trust before her current position as Programming Assistant.
