Celebrating David Bowie

In honor of what would have been David Bowie’s 70^th birthday in early 2017, key members of his various backing bands came together to play a series of shows across the world to incredible acclaim. Many of those same musicians plus more special guests are returning for an expanded tour to celebrate the big hits and everything in between from Bowie’s first international success Space Oddity to his stunning final album Blackstar.

Celebrating David Bowie will feature Mike Garson, the long-time Bowie keyboardist; Earl Slick, who worked on Bowie albums such as Diamond Dogs, Young Americans and Reality; Gerry Leonard, guitarist on Bowie’s 2002 album Heathen and 2003 album Reality and member of both albums’ touring bands; Carmine Rojas, bass player for the legendary Let’s Dance album and Serious Moonlight Tour; Gaby Moreno, the acclaimed Guatemalan singer-songwriter; Abby Jeanne, award-winning singer from Milwaukee with a robust and jazzy voice, Mark Plati, Lee John Madeloni, Bernard Fowler, Joe Sumner and more special guests to be announced.
