Join teaching artists Jessica Staples and Madeline Geier for our November Second Saturday Director Conversation about consent in educational theater. How do we define consent as a community and encourage a culture of consent in our schools and theater spaces? Starting in the classroom and moving into auditions, the rehearsal process, and performances – what are the things we can do as educators to keep everybody we work with safe?
JESSICA STAPLES is a performer, teacher, and healer in the Twin Cities. She is currently beginning her 5th year at DeLaSalle High School as a resident choreographer and her first year at FAIR School. As a humanitarian, Jessica is thrilled to be a part of Spotlight’s Artist Cohort to help spread some light!
