CANCELED: Spotlight Showcase 2020

We regret to inform you that Spotlight Showcase 2020 is canceled. The event scheduled for June 8 and 9 at the State Theatre in the Hennepin Theatre District, and the accompanying pre-production and rehearsal period spanning from May 2 to June 9 is also canceled.
Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. If you are in a position to do so, please consider turning your ticket purchase into a gift to Hennepin Theatre Trust to support these activities in your community.
Simply email Donors@HennepinTheatreTrust.org by June 9 and include your name and contact information, how many tickets you purchased, and which date (June 8 or 9) you were planning on attending. Please let us know if you would like to make an additional gift to support our work to provide students with engaging content. A gift of $150 provides dozens of students an opportunity to take a virtual class that supports their learning, development and connection to community during this time of social distancing.
If you would prefer a refund, there is no need to take any action. If we do not hear from you by June 9, your refund will automatically be processed back to the credit card used to purchase your ticket.

As the flagship education program of Hennepin Theatre Trust, Spotlight Education engages Minnesota high school students in the performing arts. Lifelong learning, leadership and community are the core values of Spotlight Education and the talented students who participate in the year-long program.
Spotlight Showcase, the culmination of the year’s journey, invites all participating high schools to step into the limelight and perform before live audiences at the historic State Theatre – a not-to-miss experience!
