Own a piece of the Orpheum's history

This year tells an incredible story for theater and art in Minnesota.

As the curtain rises on the 2022-2023 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season, Hennepin Theatre Trust is taking a moment to nod to the past as we welcome Wicked back to our stage. For 100 years, the world’s top talent has graced our stages, inspired generations of theatregoers and created positive change through the arts state-wide. We invite you to celebrate our historic theatres and contribute to the impact of the performing arts by donating to the Trust.

As a special thank you, we’re gifting a commemorative piece of the Orpheum Theatre’s floorboard with a donation of $100 or more.

About our gift
This commemorative item is an original piece of maple floorboard taken from the Orpheum Theatre’s stage, installed in the autumn of 1997 following the world premiere of Disney’s The Lion King. The Orpheum’s floorboards have held some of the most talented artists – including five touring productions of Wicked ! This piece was crafted by local artist Justin Hossle of Hossle Woodworks. Due to the historic nature of the wood there will be slight variations to each piece.
