Hennepin Theatre District lights up the holiday season in downtown Minneapolis with full line-up of holiday shows

Hennepin Theatre Trust is also set to display the iconic Dayton’s figurines in downtown storefronts as part of the Holidays on Nicollet activities

MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 8, 2023) — This holiday season, the Hennepin Theatre District comes alive with a variety of live entertainment events presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust. In the coming weeks, Hennepin Theatre Trust is scheduled to bring the magic of the season downtown with over a dozen shows for the holidays, with highlights including Brave New Workshop’s holiday show All I Want for Christmas is You…to Elf Off. The world’s favorite holiday tradition, Mannheim Steamroller Christmas is bringing their iconic sound to the Orpheum Theatre. The New Standards will bring their signature mix of jazz and humor to their annual holiday show. Minneapolis-based local group The Blenders return with their unique harmony-based sound for their Holiday Soul Tour 2023. Finally, Cirque du Soleil brings ‘Twas the Night Before…, a new take on a timeless tradition that promises to thrill and amaze.

In addition to the full line-up of live entertainment events, Hennepin Theatre Trust is also set to display the iconic, vintage figurines from Dayton’s Holiday Show in downtown storefronts this season in partnership with the mpls downtown council, as part of the Holidays on Nicollet activities.
