About Hennepin Theatre Trust
Hennepin Theatre Trust drives cultural and economic vitality in Minnesota through leadership of the dynamic Hennepin Theatre District in downtown Minneapolis and educational programming that reaches every area of the state. Its historic theatres — Orpheum, State and Pantages — light up Hennepin Avenue with top-tier entertainment, including the best of Broadway. Our beautifully renovated building, The Hennepin event center, expands the Trust’s capacity for diverse performances and events, and the organization’s transformation of the places and spaces outside the theatres create a vibrant, welcoming place for all. Our newest theatre at 824 Hennepin Avenue is the home of The Brave New Workshop, the nation’s oldest continuously running sketch comedy and improvisation group. Annually, the Trust serves thousands of high school students statewide and brings hundreds of thousands of people to the Theatre District to experience art on the street and stage. Hennepin Theatre Trust is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
Hennepin Theatre Trust commits to celebrating diversity in all its aspects, ensuring equity and establishing a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Hennepin Theatre Trust is looking to redesign the front-facing design and the backend functionality of HennepinTheatreTrust.org. Every decision will focus on improving the user experience for our audiences and to elevate the presence of the Trust’s program areas, more evenly distribute user traffic to these program areas, improve overall accessibility, position our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion to be front and center, and develop a site that leverages current search engine optimization (SEO) strategies from its inception.
