Give to the Max: Create Life-Changing Arts Experiences for Students

By supporting Hennepin Theatre Trust on Give to the Max Day, you’ll enhance the lives of more than 6,000 of high school students and help us build stronger communities around Minnesota. Through our statewide education program, Spotlight Education, we provide students critical life skills such as confidence, leadership and appreciation of community.

Spotlight Education partners with 100 high school theatre programs to support classroom curriculum with high-quality learning, performing and creative experiences.

The result? Collaborative, creative and confident young people.

With your gift to Hennepin Theatre Trust on November 15, Spotlight Education will:

  • Organize and host 10 professional masterclasses with touring Broadway and local artists at locations in the Twin Cities and across the state (Watch a masterclass with HAMILTON actors).
  • Send theatre professionals to 100 Minnesota schools to critique high school theatre productions, helping them strengthen their programs and build community.
  • Produce our annual Spotlight Showcase, which highlights the work and talent of more than 1,600 students both onstage and off-stage at the State Theatre.
