Surdyk's Catering
Hennepin Theatre Trust often turns to Surdyk’s Catering, Surdyk’s Liquor and Surdyk’s Cheese Shop in Northeast Minneapolis for full-service and drop-off catering for Trust parties and meetings at the Trust’s Event Center in the Hennepin Theatre District.
Surdyk’s Catering pivoted to launch Surdyk’s at Home, a new meal delivery program, when catering orders for events were canceled due to the Stay at Home order.
How is Surdyk’s following government safety protocols?
Surdyk’s Catering is following CDC and WHO-recommended cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Staff has paid sick leave and is encouraged to use it. Staff are able to spread out in the large commercial kitchen.
The Surdyk’s Liquor retail location is taking extra precautions: sanitizing carts after each use, wearing gloves and limiting contact. The delivery team has implemented no-contact deliveries. For pick-up orders, Surdyk’s asks that clients stay in the car, and a Surdyk’s team member will come out to assist them.
How is Surdyk’s supporting the community right now?
Surdyk’s is keeping on as much of their team as possible. The new Surdyk’s at Home program keeps the community fed and staff employed. They have also been working closely to support wedding clients who are now faced with the difficult decision of postponing their celebrations.

Purchase snacks and three days’ worth of dinner for delivery through the Surdyk’s at Home meal delivery program. Order ahead for curbside pick-up at Surdyk’s Liquor. Menus are designed around Surdyk’s Cheese Shop favorites.
