Minneapolis College Portfolio Development and Presentation

The work presented here is by the students enrolled in the Spring 2023 capstone class of Minneapolis College’s Photography and Motion program – Portfolio Development and Presentation.

Students in Minneapolis College’s Photography and Motion Program utilize the latest in equipment and software to keep pace with professional industry requirements. Coursework covers strobe and continuous lighting, video, portraiture, advertising, studio and location photography. Today’s visual content providers require an understanding of social media, design, storytelling and platform specific best practices – all taught in the program – while encouraging individual creativity and expression.

In the Portfolio Development and Presentation course, students refine their visual strengths to produce a highly effective and professional quality portfolio of still and motion content which culminates in a student directed and produced group exhibition and reception.

We congratulate the students in this year’s graduating class who have navigated the challenges of the pandemic while successfully completing their program of study!
