Driving cultural and economic vitality in Minnesota
You are what makes Hennepin Theatre Trust, and our community, vibrant and welcoming. Every day, the Trust works to foster community connections through the arts across Minnesota. Our historic Orpheum, State and Pantages theatres light up Hennepin Avenue with the best of Broadway and top-tier live entertainment. Annually, the Trust serves more than 8,000 high school students statewide and brings nearly 600,000 people to the Hennepin Theatre District to experience art on the street and stage.
Hennepin Theatre Trust is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
We create positive change through the arts by bringing together people, businesses and organizations to create and enjoy cultural experiences.
To advance the cultural and economic vitality of Minnesota through leadership of a dynamic arts district, anchored by and defined by a major performing arts center.

Our work centers around these programs:
Our venues are your venues. The historic Orpheum, State and Pantages theatres and The Hennepin event center are anchors of the Historic Theatre District —a vibrant, 10-square-block area in downtown Minneapolis, from 5th to 10th streets on Hennepin Avenue.
Our century-old building contains beautiful indoor spaces, a rooftop patio and an outdoor terrace. It is ideal for weddings, corporate functions, social events, and conventions or seminars. Our expansive studio space and exclusive art gallery are the perfect rooms for live theater, concerts, art exhibits and dance rehearsals.
Hennepin Theatre Trust and our staff are passionate to creating positive change across the Twin Cities and Minnesota.
Discover the Heart of Hennepin, a yearlong celebration for the Orpheum, State and Pantages theatres, along with The Hennepin event center (900 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) and 824 Hennepin, home to the Brave New Workshop comedy theatre. The centennial celebration honors the past 100 years of the Hennepin Theatre District and looks ahead to what the future holds for the arts, the Trust and downtown neighbors.
Thanks to our supporters, we are able to instill confidence and community connection in more than 8,000 students statewide through our arts education programs, elevate and financially support the creative works of local artists and provide meaningful arts and cultural experiences to the more than 600,000 people we bring to the Hennepin Theatre District annually. When you donate to Hennepin Theatre Trust, you are enabling cultural and economic vitality to flourish statewide.
