MinnRoast 2017

MinnRoast is MinnPost’s annual song-and-skit variety show featuring your favorite local politicians, journalists and media types. Marvel as they shed their serious personas to sing, dance, act and poke fun at each other and the state of the state we all love.

Our crack writing staff is already hard at work penning skits and song parodies, as well as developing ideas for the video shorts we introduced last year. Notable names scheduled to appear this year include Sen. Al Franken, Rep. Tom Emmer, Mayor Betsy Hodges, state Rep. Ilhan Omar, TV host and celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern, the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, opera star Maria Jette, and more.
