Tim Allen continues to perform stand-up shows to sold-out crowds across the country. He honed his talents as a stand-up comic throughout the eighties, providing the perfect lead-in to his highly successful ABC television series “Home Improvement” where he garnered a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy nomination, and was honored with the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series” for an unprecedented eight years in a row.

During “Home Improvement’s” run at the top of the prime-time charts, Tim revisited his comedy roots with a successful national concert tour. He also found time to pen his first book about the male perspective, Don’t Stand Too Close to a Naked Man, topping the New York Times Bestseller List. This was followed by his second bestseller I’m Not Really Here focusing on midlife, family and quantum physics.

He made his film debut in 1994, playing a holiday icon in “The Santa Clause,” earning him another People’s Choice Award. In 1995, he voiced the beloved, yet deluded, space ranger Buzz Lightyear in the CGI smash hit “Toy Story.”

Allen most recently starred on the hit sitcom “Last Man Standing” which aired its ninth and final season on FOX in 2021. Allen starred as Mike Baxter, a happily married father of three daughters, who finds himself the odd man out as he tries to maintain his manliness in a home dominated by women.

Allen’s 10-episode series “More Power” premiered on June 29, 2022 on The HISTORY Channel, reuniting him with his “Home Improvement” co-star and “Assembly Required” co-host Richard Karn, along with woodworking do-it-yourself YouTube star April Wilkerson. The trio tackles the supercharged history of tools, celebrating the coolest, most powerful, and iconic examples of tools, while showcasing their evolution of power from handheld and basic to the industrial and mighty. They also head out into the field to play with some of the biggest machines that power and serve our everyday lives and meet the men and woman who operate them.

Allen starred in and executive produced the competition series “Assembly Required” which premiered in February 2021 on The HISTORY Channel. Allen reunited with his “Home Improvement” co-star Richard Karn who served as series host, marking the 30th anniversary of the pair’s original television debut.  Spotlighting the best and brightest builders from across the country at their home workshops, contestants competed to breathe new life into everyday household items, testing their ability and ingenuity to not only rebuild things but build them back better.
