Ethan Aaro Jones (b. 1985, Washington, D.C.) is an artist currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is known for his color photographs which explore ideas of solitude, human disposition and perspective. Ethan earned an MFA in photography from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. He was the recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board in 2017. Ethan’s work has been exhibited widely. His first solo exhibition was staged at the University of Notre Dame, and his upcoming exhibition will appear at Xiao Space in Evanston, Illinois, in May 2022.
