Live from the West Side: Women of Broadway series
Join us for a three-part virtual concert series, Live from the West side: Women of Broadway featuring two-time Tony® Award winner Patti LuPone on October 24, Tony® Award winner Laura Benanti on November 14, and critically acclaimed actress and singer Vanessa Williams on December 5. Streamed live from New York’s Shubert Virtual Studios, each show will feature a mix of Broadway showtunes, pop songs, and personal stories from the life of each headliner. You can even submit questions in advance for each artist to answer during the show.
Subscription packages and single tickets are available for Live from the West Side: Women of Broadway. Subscription packages are $75 (sales end Saturday, October 24) and include access to all three livestream events. Single tickets are $30 for each livestream event. Each performance also includes an additional 72 hours of on-demand viewing of a video recording of the livestream, available beginning one hour after each live broadcast ends. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will support Hennepin Theatre Trust’s mission of creating positive change through the arts by bringing together people, businesses and organizations to create and enjoy cultural experiences.
Not only is this an exclusive show you can only get here, it’s also a chance to help small local theaters across Minnesota survive this difficult time. The Trust has teamed up with the Duluth Playhouse, Theatre L’Homme Dieu in Alexandria and the Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes. Every ticket purchased supports efforts to ensure these community gems will raise their curtains when we can gather in person once again. As a statewide organization, we are grateful for our friends at these theaters for helping us bring high-quality, live cultural events to audiences across Minnesota.
Thanks to our supporters, we are able to instill confidence and community connection in more than 8,000 students statewide through our arts education programs, elevate and financially support the creative works of local artists and provide meaningful arts and cultural experiences to the more than 600,000 people we bring to the Hennepin Theatre District annually. When you make a gift to Hennepin Theatre Trust, you are enabling cultural and economic vitality to flourish statewide. Please support the arts by giving a donation.
